Anne Martin creates mosaic masterpieces! Topiary pear trees laden with ripe yellow fruit, vines dripping with plump green grapes, pencil pines in pretty pots, flowering bird of paradise plants, birds, frogs, fish and fountains are just some of the stars of her amazing colourful garden – and they are all made of mosaic. Her front garden is planted with Australian natives, so she has created several mosaic pieces in earthy colours to complement the planting. From the lovely old Lychgate at the entrance, a wide path is decorated with circles of coloured pebbles, bricks and pavers, with a stunning large urn mosaicked in the colours of the surrounding flowers as the centrepiece. Further into the garden, sitting amongst the foliage, are three brightly tiled plinths topped with terracotta water bowls.
