This will be the 25th year of Ashgrove Iris Garden opening to the public. This lovely flower-filled garden has been enjoyed by many thousands of visitors and over the years. A beautiful, meticulously maintained garden, Ashgrove Iris Garden is a relaxed, pretty one acre country style garden with meandering pathways, plenty of garden seating and many “old fashioned” and unusual plants adding to its diversity. There are around 300 roses and mass planting of over 900 named varieties of bearded iris and each spring they produce a beautiful show of colour.
Extra Activities: Iris Plant sales. Exhibition of watercolours by artist in residence.
Size: 1 acre.
Charity: Local Wildlife Rescue Group.
Entry: $10 adults, under 18 free and some concessions are available. We encourage visitors to bring cash as EFTPOS facilities are not always available.
