Built in the 1940s, Stangate House overlooks one of the most beautiful camellia gardens in Australia – Its set on four acres.
It’s a unique property owned by the National Trust of South Australia
It’s recognised as an International Camellia Society Garden of Excellence.
You will also see an awe-inspiring English oak tree, Quercus robur is around 170 years old.
Stangate House welcomes visitors on its regular open days.
Purchase plants and visit the Camellia Society’s trading table. Refreshments are available or you can bring your own picnic.
